Welcome to Number 6 Litton Mill
Number 6 Litton Mill is a superb spacious ground floor apartment situated in an historic mill building in a wonderful location in the heart of the Peak District close to Buxton and Tideswell. This quality apartment offers very well equipped and stylish accommodation, including an enormous master suite with super king-size bed, en-suite corner bath and large TV. The other two bedrooms each benefit from an en-suite, while many rooms in this apartment enjoy views over the river, water wheel pit or waterfall. The open plan living area of this Peak District self catering apartment is perfect for groups, with the kitchen area kept stylishly separate by a glass partition, and a sitting area just made for relaxing after a day spent exploring the area. Bakewell and Buxton continue to delight visitors, while the many walking and cycling trails of the National Park tempt people back time and again. Visit Chatsworth House or Haddon Hall, or even enjoy a day at Alton Towers. A superb apartment for families, friends or as a romantic retreat.
The attractive village of Litton Mill is located on the River Wye just a few miles from the heart of the Peak District. The nearby village of Litton features a green complete with ancient wooden stocks, a community shop, and the 17th century Red Lion pub serving excellent home-cooked food. Litton Mill is situated on the Monsal Trail, and the area boasts spectacular views of the twin viaducts that once carried powerful steam locomotives from London to Manchester as part of the Midlands Line. The old line now forms an 8.5 mile walking/cycling trail that meanders along the hills above the River Wye

Customer Comments
Very peaceful location and beautiful surroundings.
Mrs Feinstein, Abingdon, August 2011
A delightful property. Very different from the "cottage" type of property one normally goes for. Tastefully decorated and very unique in it's design but warm and friendly place.
Mr Seymour, Ipswich, August 2011
Very spacious property in a lovely setting - just great for our family come rain or shine!
Mrs Morrison, London, August 2011
