The house enjoys unspoilt countryside, popular with walkers and mountain bikers alike yet is only six miles from Bakewell and Matlock. Self catering accommodation is available at The Lodge, a stone built former milking parlour set within the grounds of this fine Grade II listed Derbyshire long house. The Lodge has recently been loving restored to an exceptionally high standard. It has a large open plan lounge with sofa and TV, a dining area and shower room. Under floor heating throughout. The bedroom has an antique double bed with down duvet and feather pillows romantically lit by a crystal chandelier. Decorated throughout with fine furnishings and historical colours. Dale End House Dale End House Bedroom at the Lodge The Lodge Kitchen Overlooking a courtyard with ducks, goats and chickens and a traditional 2 storey stable block on one side and open fields, sheep and a babbling brook on the other. There is ample parking and secure indoor space for bikes; with 4 stables you can even bring your horse! The Lodge is non-smoking. Obedient dogs are welcome for a small additional cost. Tea and coffee making facilities are available at all times. Self Catering The Lodge sleeps 2 and is charged at £70 per night in total on a self Catering basis all year round. Discounts are available for stays of 4 or more nights. During peak periods, the 4th night onwards will be charged at £50. So a three night self catering stay works out ot £210, four nights £260, five nights £310...etc etc upto a maximum of 14 nights. During off peak periods, the 4th night onwards will be charged at £40. So a three night self catering stay works out ot £210, four nights £250, five nights £290...etc etc upto a maximum of 14 nights. Peak Periods are defined as the following nights: October 22nd until October 29th 2011 December 17th 2011 until January 3rd 2011 February 11th until February 18th 2012 March 31st until September 1st 2012 October 27th until November 3rd 2012 December 22nd 2012 unil January 5th 2013 All other dates are classified as off peak.
