Uppermoor Farmhouse, it's Annexe (Horseshoe Cottage) and adjacent Coach House Cottage are 3 individually styled holiday cottages full of charm and character and when booked exclusively give a maximum guest potential of 24; but having the added flexibility of sleeping 20, 18 or 14 or 14, 6 & 4 respectively allowing for many combinations between.
Only joining the holiday rental market in the summer of last year, due to being a brand new conversion and being awarded the coveted 'gold star' accreditation by the tourist board in February of this year . We can offer discerning guests, spacious 5 star en-suite, large group accommodation. 'Indulge yourselves' sleep in Four Poster Beds and relax & unwind on deep-seated sofas whilst soaking up the ambience of your very own Peak Retreat.
We have created a 'home away from home' ambiance in each of our Peak District holiday cottages and there is a choice of private rear terraces with a selection of comfortable garden furniture & three BBQ's to allow for 'Alfresco' dining for everyone.

We are ideally located for access to all major Peak District attractions from stately homes (Chatsworth and Haddon Hall) to picturesque towns and villages (Ashbourne, Bakewell, Buxton, and Matlock).

Uppermoor Farmhouse - sleeps 14 - Luxury 5 star 'Gold' Peak District Cottage
Uppermoor Farmhouse - is the 'large group Cottage' and has the flexibility to accommodate up to 14. The Farmhouse occupies an enviable, elevated location and is built in traditional limestone typical of the Peak District National Park. It dates back to the late 18th century.
Recently renovated and refurbished bringing it up to a luxury 5 star 'Gold' standard. It now sits in an attractive courtyard setting occupying two sides of the courtyard. It can sleep a large group of up to 14 people offering a choice of six spacious bedrooms all with their own luxury en-suites or private bathroom facility. Each bedroom is individually furnished with charming personal touches and attention to detail. The ground floor has the benefit of being all 'open plan' design and has two sitting rooms the second being an 'Orangery' allowing for fabulous Peak District views from the large French windows. It's elegant dining hall can seat 20 adults easily around two antique dining tables.

The Coach House - sleeps 4 - Luxury 4 star gold Peak District Cottage
The Coach House Cottage is situated adjacent to the main Farmhouse and has a lovely 'open plan' feel and is all on the ground floor. It has a very sunny and sheltered aspect and looks out across the pretty courtyard and has two double bedrooms, sleeps 4. The Coach House Cottage would have been awarded Visit Britain 5 star status but has no bath. However, we are happy to inform you that it does have two en-suite luxury showers instead!
The Coach House Cottage is all on the ground floor and sleeps up to 4 adults and is fully centrally heated with an efficient gas combination boiler.
The main entrance leads from the courtyard through a Georgian style stable door and into a flagstone hallway. This in turn opens up into a spacious open-plan kitchen area with sitting room at the far end with a cosy log burner stove.

The Farmhouse Annexe & adjoining Horseshoe Cottage - sleeps 6 - Luxury 5 star 'Gold' Peak District Cottage
Horseshoe Cottage has a cosy country feel and nestles in the corner of the pretty courtyard setting. It can sleep six comfortably in three double bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The fully centrally heated and spacious cottage has three double bedrooms and sleeps 6 adults. The accommodation is over two floors and has a cosy separate sitting room with log burner and a reading corner.
